Julie Rooney

Julie Rooney is new media artist, performer, and videographer whose work uniquely integrates video, dance, and contemporary classical music. In addition to these formal concerns, explorations of animals, wildness, biology, and relationships provide thematic content for her work as she explores ideas of the Wild and Wildness, interstitial forms, and responses to nihilism. Julie received her MFA from the University of Colorado at Boulder, studied abroad at the Glasgow School of Art, received her BA from DePauw University. Julie currently lives in Brooklyn. Samantha Lysaght

Samantha Lysaght received her BFA in Dance at the University of Colorado Boulder, honored with summa cum laude. She performed in works by choreographers Christopher Huggins, Chris Aiken, Angie Hauser, Marlo Martin, Teena Marie Custer, Lisa Race, and Erika Randall. With Randall, Lysaght trained extensively, performing as a soloist in two of her works. Lysaght will be featured in films by Randall’s production company Teahm Beahm. Lysaght continues to travel the country to forever be a student, maintaining her curiosity with the human body.
